For the plush toys, the solution is to seal them in ice packs and put them in the freezer for 2-3 days. This will kill the dust inside. After that, depending on the material of the toys, most of the toys can be machine washed, especially if they are placed in the pillowcase first.             For wooden toys, the way that we solve the hygiene problem in second-hand stuffed toys is to mix the vinegar with water together in order to wash and dry the wooden toys. This is because vinegar is a good disinfectant that is able to kill the mold and bacteria. After drying it by using the pure distilled vinegar, then the vinegar smell will not appear anymore to the wooden toys.

            

               For the stains on white fabric toys, after finishing to wash the fabric toys, it needs to dry under the direct sunlight. For example, for most of the light stains on the fabric toys,  if the stain cannot be cleaned, we can put some lemon juice on it before putting it under the sun. It is applicable to clothes as well.

            

              Regarding the hygiene problem of cigarette smell on kids product, the toys will need to immerse in the vinegar or soda water for a few hours , then wash it by hand. Sometimes, we will need to have hand-washing detergent in order to remove the cigarette smell. After that, put the toys outdoors for 2 to 3 days to dry it.
